apan based Irisohyama corp has announced the MUR-01 music chair which has a built in 2.1 channel speaker system. The woofer and amplifier are located behind the back rest and deliver an output of 2W×2ch and 4.5W respectively. The unit is powered by an AC adapter and comes with RCA and stereo inputs. Not the first of its kind but would have been complete with a concealed iPod dock along with dedicated controls and a display on the arm rest. The music rocker will be made available in Japan by mid July for 19800 Yen ($ 200).
