TeliaSonera first in the world with 4G services

12/14/2009 07:30:00 CET (TeliaSonera AB)

Today, as the first operator in the world, TeliaSonera launches 4G services commercially to customers in Stockholm, Sweden and Oslo, Norway.
"We are very proud to be the first operator in the world to offer our customers 4G services. The use of mobile broadband in the Nordic countries is exploding and customers need higher speeds and capacity. This is why we launch 4G services in both Stockholm and Oslo," says Kenneth Karlberg, President and Head of Mobility Services.

4G/LTE will open up new possibilities for customers to use and enjoy services on their laptops, requiring high transmission speed and capacity, such as advanced web TV broadcasting, extensive online gaming and web conferences.

"Being first out with new technology gives us unique experience that we can use on all our markets. We will continue the roll-out to offer our customers new communication services for the future," continues Kenneth Karlberg.

The two pioneering 4G city networks cover the central city areas of Stockholm and Oslo and will be used for mobile data. 4G is the fastest mobile technology available on the market, with speeds up to ten times higher than today's turbo 3G.

TeliaSonera has three nation wide 4G/LTE licenses; in Sweden, Norway and also recently in Finland. The network roll out is in progress to offer 4G to Sweden's and Norway's largest cities.

Facts
The Stockholm 4G city network is supplied by Ericsson. The Oslo 4G city network is supplied by Huawei. The modems at launch come from Samsung. Evaluation of suppliers for TeliaSonera's common 4G core network and radio networks in the Nordic and Baltic countries is in progress and vendors will be selected in the beginning of 2010.

REview Mobile Phone - LG ARENA KM-900

LG is one of the most forward-looking mobile on the market today. Never a company to stay at the bottom, have always been willing to take risks, the biggest and best phone out there year after year of design. This means that they offer again this year, the LG KM900 done arena. Touted as a successor to the LG Viewty, this phone has a lot to live, but to hit the mark?

Before we look at whether the great advantage of 3D interface that lives up to the hype, we should look at the outer casing. The LG KM900 Arena is one of the applications very smooth and sophisticated mobile phone. With clean lines, slim line design and a fabulous color, is certainly attractive for business and personal sides of the spectrum. Is actually a titanium silver casing, with a black border to the beauty on the screen to highlight it. Measuring 3 inches wide with a resolution of 480x800 pixels, is truly amazing, and you will be blown by the quality.

Regarding the list of features, it seems that the LG KM900 Arena must be satisfied in any base. With a built in memory of 8GB, there are more than enough space for everything you want to save. You can also add to that more with a microSD card if you wish. The touch screen is incredibly sensitive and easy to use, the connectivity options are excellent, and the Wi-Fi is much more reliable than one would find on most other phones. The reliability of the phone is generally excellent, but you might want to know a little 'properties.

The LG KM900 Arena is a music player and a camera. The music player supports most file formats and has some absolutely wonderful touches. For example, the 3.5mm jack on the top of the phone so that you can enjoy fabulous quality music headphones, without snagging on the bag all the time. Dolby Mobile is responsible for the excellent sound quality, but it's possible your music through the FM transmitter, and actions. The camera does not, on the other side is as powerful as one might expect from LG Mobile. However, we want to 5MP still pictures very good and comes complete with LED flash, autofocus and face recognition, among other features. As such it is highly functional and perfect for the user to take pictures, how and when the mood you love.

However, the LG KM900 Arena a big mistake for the excellence of all who is above and unfortunately happens to be the main selling point, the LG has decided to focus - the 3D interface. Logic tells us that 3D images is impossible on a flat screen, but LG seems to be wishful thinking to believe otherwise. This is not the mobile version of the HD so as not enthusiastic, because bitterly disappointed if you're doing.

Provided you do not buy into hype 3D, you'll be very pleased with the LG KM900 Arena to be satisfied. This is a fantastic laptop, which really push the bar. LG is in reality a call for bigger and better mobile phones and the LG KM900 fits perfectly in the arena!

Design Concept Car - peugeot metromorph concept

If still remember each other. Science on the film of Steven Spielberg on the future world of Minority Report than a concept car version of the 2054 Lexus was used to design and perform. Team concept of the film is about the journey of people in the next generation. To inspire the next generation of designers in the Open Vision and imagination. To offer a new form of travel for the future also.

Roman Mistiuk the management concept that has experience in this film. Used to extend the ideas before creating a new prototype called the Peugeot Metromorph Concept his love of design ideas from this film when Tom Cruz escape chase.

Mistiuk says he likes the ideas of the film designed to meet the housing cars are virtually the same. Because the next generation of these vehicles can climb buildings and parking can be hung on the apartment is higher. And driver or person in the cabin were able to walk from the car into the apartment at all Mistiuk see people in the next generation will have problems in the area of horizontal indeed. This is not sufficient for population increase. And the exit is. The expansion up to the vertical is higher.

The car has been designed to appear as a 2 seater with power and drive. That the electric motor is installed on the rear wheel 2 as well as the passenger seat. Can rotate or change the rotation in horizontal and vertical have. To comply with the direction of movement of the car.

Body forming a lightweight steel frame and a clear focus on the glass around the. With large 2 door panel can be opened wide. And to facilitate the entry and exit from the cabin when the plane. But when parking in a vertically hanging on the apartment then. Passengers and drivers will be out of the car using the door on the south car bodies instead.

Pity that mars a book that would not like to see more pictures together through animation Mistiuk made available through out the youtube website which anyone interested will try to search solution available.

Even extends the concept of film. But must accept that ideas Mistiuk with his design skills are not considered standard no. And this match would not ask each other to have the opportunity to sell the product or not. Because this innovative ซะ size. It would be true only in the film world.

Rent Or Buy HD Video Camera

If you are new to HD video cameras, you've probably found yourself wondering if you really need to have one around. For a majority of people, a HD video
camera represents the best way to capture memories and pictures with the best technology available today.

For producers or those looking to start their own productions, HD video cameras may be easier to rent than to buy. While most HD video cameras cost quite a
bit of money, they may be easier to rent than just to go out and buy.

If you only plan to use your camera for a few days or just a short period of time, then renting may be your best option. Producers and professional
photographers looking to take things to the next level, may choose rent a HD video camera to test the waters before making the purchase. If you've never
experienced HD before, renting a camera may be the best idea before you sink a ton of money into buying one of your very own.

On the other hand, if you take a lot of pictures and enjoy making videos, buying a camera may be the best option for you. Even though they cost a lot of money, these cameras are ideal for anyone who is seeking the absolute best in technology. These cameras are nothing like cameras of the past, as they can do so much more - with a lot better quality.

For the average photographer, a HD video camera may not be the best purchase. If you are on a budget or don't have a lot of money to spend, then this type of
camera is probably going to be out of your league. If you have a lot of money on the other hand, this type of camera is more than worth the purchase.

There are several companies that rent out HD cameras, from many different manufacturers. Normally, those that rent are looking to try the camera out, or just needing it for a brief amount of time. Trying out the camera is a good thing, although it normally leads to buying it. It can be very difficult to try out a camera that is this good then not buy it.

When the time comes to test out HD video cameras, renting is sometimes the best way to go. If you've used these types of cameras in the past, then you
may want to go ahead and buy one. There are several to choose from, and you really can't go wrong with jumping on the band wagon and immersing yourself in the amazing world of HD.

Finding Your Format

It's quite impossible to choose a camera without knowing which format best fits your needs. Below, you'll find many of the most popular formats.
DVCPRO HD
Based on the standard definition of DVCPRO format, the DVCPRO HD from Panasonic uses a data rate of 120 MBps and intraframe compression, both of which will provide strong protection from generational loss.

The DVCPRO HD also has supporting cameras and decks that use FireWire I/O, which is a very important feature for keeping an eye on your bottom line. The
cost of the equipment is a bit pricey, as it can cost upwards of 80,000$.

HDCAM
The HDCAM format from Sony is based on DigiBeta and can record in 24p, 25p, 50i, and even 60i. It uses a high data rate of 140MBps, which produces a
great looking picture with few glitches. Because of the very unusual 17:6:6 color sampling scheme, the color detail is half of DVCPRO HD. The
picture is top of the line, proving to be among the best available on the market.

HDV
There is quite a bit of buzz surrounding HDV as the newcomer to the high definition marketplace. With high compression rates, HDV has enabled high quality shooting and editing with low cost tools, including the convenience of high definition video to Mini DV tape. This has also helped to open up the HD field to a wide variety of videographers and producers who would never have even considered going high definition otherwise.

The biggest drawback to going the HDV route is also the greatest strength - high compression. Both audio and video can suffer dramatically from too much compression. The audio in theory isn't up to CD quality, although some users report that they are perfectly happy with it.

Panasonic TH-42PZ700U review

Although this HDTV isn’t very affordable and hasn’t got any cool or new features, the visual quality is very good. Other may seem more reasonable for this price, but if you really want to amaze your friends with all the visual details and great sceneries, you have to buy this product.

When speaking about visuals, this is the best there is. It has amazing high definition view, with great details and superb picture quality. You will be impressed by the way people’s skin and hair looks. This 42 inch plasma got a bigger score than any of the other products in its category. It is the highest resolution plasma you can find on the market right now.

The standard definition broadcast test didn’t give this product an excellent score. The colors aren’t as bright and shiny as people expect them to be. For example, the Vizio VP42 managed to get a bigger score in this category as its colors were more lively and real. However the Panasonic TH-42PZ700U does a pretty good job with the standard def DVD.

The black colors are amazing and deep; they bring out the excellent quality of this product. Most of us pay more attention to the color, graphics and options that a TV comes with but the black and white of the images should also take closer notice.

The most important thing to get a good visual quality is to know how to set the TV at its best performance. Unfortunately, the menu isn’t very helpful, everything is very hard to handle. It takes a big amount of time to set the language. In the menu where it shows English language, when you click”ok” you might notice that nothing happens.

Usually, these menus are intuitive but this one isn’t at all. It actually has a little button; you will probably notice it after a long time of searching. Using that button will approve your selection, otherwise it will change it and you won’t even know why. Like the manual options this is more annoying that anything else, as it should save automatically or give you an easier way to make your changes permanent.

When you reach the menu where you can label input devices, fortunately you can skip some of them and move on. However, if this was done automatically things would have been better and faster. It’s not a major problem, but most of these options are automatic now, so it’s very strange that Panasonic only added the manual options.

The good thing about this product is that you can set everything up very easily. Physically speaking, this product isn’t like the ones that take 3 hours to install after moving away all your furniture. It has a single coaxial connector; you will find it facing down. Also, other features include extra component video and S-Video inputs. A great aspect is the great card reader which can be used to see the photos right out of the camera.

Speakers are on the side, and you can almost miss them because they are hidden in the HDTV’s design. The placements of the speakers are sleeker than you would normally see as they were built in and designed to blend perfectly with the frame. Speaking of design, this TV has a great elegant design, like any well respected brand, Panasonic chooses the classic glossy black for the TH-42PZ700U.

The remote control is big and heavy, it almost suggests this product’s high quality. However, it has a particular design as one half is full of buttons. But you shouldn’t worry about control, everything will run smooth because it is designed for you comfort.

Overall this product is amazing; it brings out the smallest details and has a highly improved visual quality when compared to other HDTVs. It doesn’t have many features, but why would you need them if it shows perfect pictures at the best quality you can buy. Although it’s a little bit pricey, you should buy it if you are looking for video quality.

Best Applicatoins For The iPhone

One of the best features about the iPhone is how you can add additional applications to the phone, depending on your specific needs. If you are a business professional who needs help organizing your life, than you will love the productivity applications you can download onto your iPhone. However, if you are a simple iPhone user, who just wants to be better connected to the world around you, than there are many applications that you can choose from. One of the most popular applications for the iPhone is the WeatherBug application.

This amazing feature allows you to have up-to-date weather readings, which make planning a picnic extremely simple. How many times have you wondered what the weather was going to be like next week? Well, instead of tuning into your nightly news for the long-winded forecast, you can simply look to your iPhone and it will give you a detailed weather forecast.

Another great application that everyone should have on their iPhone is the Food Network Application. This application is perfect for families, as well as those who live alone but enjoy a great meal every night. With this application you are able to discover and read-off the hottest recipes from various Food Network shows. These recipes give you detailed instructions, as well as videos, to over 30,000 recipes. Are you in the mood for particular types of food, but you don't know exactly what it is? Well, you can browse the index of recipes depending on the type of ingredients it uses, how long it will take to cook as well as even holiday dishes. This application is one of the most useful apps that you can have on your iPhone, especially if you love to cook.

This next application is for those of us who adore music and going to concerts. The application is called MyMusicServed and it allows you to view and access information concerning concert dates, concert venue information as well as even driving directions to the venue. This is a great way to keep in touch with all of your favorite bands, and where they are playing next. However, one of the coolest features about this application is the fact that you can share what you see. You can e-mail a specific concerts' information to anyone in your address book by simply tapping, "Mail It."

After you have done this, you can send this vital information to anyone you want to share it with. Also, after you have bought your tickets and your friends are all ready to go, you can get seamless driving directions to the venue.

However, these driving directions are unlike any that you have ever seen. They will give you detail directions, as well as traffic information. This is extremely important because the last thing you want to do is be stuck in traffic while your favorite band is playing one of their greatest shows. With this application you can streamline your musical life, and have constant access to the bands that you love. Whether you are an avid concert attendee, or if you just enjoy knowing who is playing where, you will love this application.

What Makes the iPhone Different

When you are in the market for a new cell phone, you have a plethora of phones to choose from. One of the biggest challenges is finding the perfect phone that is compatible with your current cell phone provider. The choices slim down considerably when you start to head into the realm of smart phones. Smart phone are more expensive than others, mainly due to the fact they offer a higher end technology. The iPhone by Apple, is one of these smart phones. Why should you choose an Apple iPhone instead of another smart phone like a Blackberry? What makes the iPhone different from all of the other smart phones available.

The Apple iPhone has a touch screen. While other cell phones have touch screen capabilities, most of the other smart phones do not. That is why they have keypads. The iPhone's touch screen is one of the features that have made it so popular. Everything is done through the screen. It makes texting, sorting through the main page, finding contacts and browsing the internet so easy. No awkward and cumbersome key pads to deal with (men know that these are usually too small to be practical), and no stylus to lose. Everything is done with a tough of a finger. You page through your options and make your selections with your fingertips. The volume and other controls are also controlled with just a tough or two from you. It is this ease of use that is what makes the iPhone different from the other high-end smart phones.

The features of the iPhone are another way that it is different from the other smart phones. This phone is crammed packed with features. As some would say, "this is a mack daddy phone". What are the features that this phone has that others lack? First, there is the fact that the Apple iPhone has given the user the ability to have music, video content like movies and TV, texting, emailing, internet, photography and GPS navigation all in a single device. This is in addition to having great call quality. When you look at the fact that this allows the user to only need a single device instead of having to cart around a PDA, MP3 player, camera, cell phone and GPS system, and you have a very appealing device. These features are what make the iPhone different from all of the others.

Is there anything else that makes the iPhone different? Yes, there are but these may not be positive differences. it is only available with AT&T's cell phone service. If you happen to be in an area with limited or no service by AT&T then you are out of luck if you want an iPhone. Another feature that makes the iPhone different is the battery. It cannot be replaced. If your battery dies, then you need a new phone. Not very good news to someone that has just spent $500 on a phone. There is no way to add to the memory of the device. You can purchase your Apple iPhone with either 6 GB, 8 GB, or 16 GB of memory. If you run out of room on your phone, you have to delete something. There are no slots for memory cards. This is something that Apple should have researched better. Teens who love music and video content can burn through 8 GB or memory in record time.
Overall, what makes the iPhone different from all of the others is its ease of use and versatility. Along those lines, Apple did a fabulous job. Just like with anything else it is not a perfect phone, then again, what is?
