TomTom Start 20

TomTom has fitted an orientation sensor to its Start 20 satnav, ensuring that the image on the 4.5in screen will display the correct way up no matter which way it's mounted on the dashboard. Primed with 2GB of internal flash memory, the device has road maps covering two million more kilometres and twice as many points of interest as previous TomTom models. Street names are spoken aloud, and advanced lane guidance is provided as you approach a junction. The Start 20 is aimed at first-time satnav users and has a simplified onscreen menu. As well as full UK and Ireland maps, it covers major European roads too.

One of the newer media players announced in the past few months, the Iomega Screenplay DX HD comes with internal storage to the tune of 1TB, though you can also pick up a unit with a 2TB hard drive pre-installed.

Iomega goes with a nondescript boxy shape, with an all-black glossy surface, which unfortunately also attracts fingerprints like bees to honey. Being a little on the bulky side, the Screenplay does take up some space and is only smaller than the AC Ryan Playon! HD2.

Full Review Mobile Phone - Nokia N8

Looking at the Nokia N8 in the windows or on the Internet, I thought "nice ... but never buy a phone so sophisticated and expensive." Even if it costs much less than an iPhone, it is still of a high-end smartphones, and $349 in times of crisis are quite a lot!

Luckily for me to spend someone else has thought ... and so today, after playing a bit with the new N8 during the Christmas holidays, I ask you this review. I state that for two years now using a Nokia 5800 , so many of the considerations that will be linked to a comparison between these two devices. What will emerge, in addition to the obvious and the superiority of the Nokia N8 in terms of technical features, will also be a consideration that is not always a high-end model can be a sensible choice for those who need a smartphone or just want some fun. Because in the end-let's face it-these phones are neither more nor less than the expensive toys for the child in all of us!
